I remember when purple was out of fashion , well I can probably think of the music band deep purple not necessarily being out of fashion but then again they were not a funny as the flight of the conchords at the Consumer electronics show 2008 ..... ---Above late re-edit on April 2008---
I don't think it has the same flare as the Nokia handsets but Samsung is going from strength to strength and I think will surpass Nokia and Sony Ericsonn soon. Unlike Toshiba who devoted alot of time and money on the Blu Ray rival - HD DVD format, Samsung have had their heads down and just developing grate handsets! A screen of 2.2" 240x320 pixels 16 million colours, now my TV does not even have that resolution! I only wish I could get a good reception. But wait this deal from Beepy mobiles also contains a Sony PS3 that has the Blu Ray enabled player -- after all that is the only thing why you would by a PS3 is for the blu ray player. I think the MS Xbox system is far better and eventually will supply a Blu ray player anyway.

Is the colour purple for mobile phones suppose to be funky and fresh? Well I don't know exactly, but the next time I listen to Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze I may just think of this handset.
