Do you need information on the latest handsets, network deals and the gifts and tariffs that goes with them, then you may want to take a look at the following blog entries. Not just my ranting and raving about certain handsets, but observations of the mobile phone that are on sale in the UK today...

If I was the Apple iPhone, or a smart Nokia mobile phone I would watch out. HTC is on the way up.

HTC TyTN II Black...And it has been that way for a while. If you want a little more value for you pound when it comes to buying a mobile phone, then have you considered the HTC range of handsets lately?

HTC are not as glamourous as your Nokia, Samsung, or Motorola, but is that really the case? For example, have you catch a glimpse of the new HTC Touch Diamond? It is incrediable. It's 3D interface looks impressive and it is a phone that can rival the Apple iPhone too. Let's face it, you may pay a little bit more for the Apple iPhone , all things considered equal, but if you already have an Apple Mac and you love the Apple style and many people do, then that is the right path for you. But you know there are other options with mobile phones world when buying. And companies like HTC are coming up from behind as the under dogs and may just take all the winnings and cross in the line in the mobile phone race. And it is a race really. From 2G to 3G to the goal of 4G in the future, the humble mobile phone that originally all it did was take voice calls is now doing everything from checking the weather to finding your location on the globe via GPS (if you did not know where you are already) to making you look stylish and keeping up apearances.

Now as I said, if the Apple iPhone is your thing, or a Nokia or a Samsung or a Blackberry then that is fine, but if you want something a little different then you should consider the HTC range of handsets and one of them is the HTC TyTN 2 or HTC TyTN II (or ii if you go to lower case). This one is designed with the business user in mind with its GPS capability you can throw away your TomTom car nav and talk to your mobile phone --no wait you cannot talk on your mobile phone when driving, cause that is illegal and you might go to jail if caught! But moving on, the TomTom company is actually behind the feature and the Navigator 6 Taster software is supplied. I remember when navigator what a web browser and a bad one at that. Well not really, it was the first web browser before MS and their Internet explorer , or Internet exploiter, depending on who you talk to. Any how, this Navigator is one for the 21century, and sports high speed needs met , with smart phone devices bundled.

So, you've heard the phrase compare apples with oranges, lets compare the apple with the TyTn 2, ha ah that was a joke get it.

Well I do like the apple iphone, really I do, but I think I would do a lot of decision making when it was next to one the HTC mobile phones, come on the TyTN by HTC is 3G / Third Generation for starters and the iPhone is actually 2G or the current ones at least. There is new iPhones coming out that will be 3G but that is in the future. Video recording, video calls and messaging is available on the TyTn 2 and Wi-Fi and the hi speed data transfere EDGE is also included. Java is on it as well and a Qwerty keyboard so watch out blackberry, the HTC is going to make blackberry jam of you. Ha another joke.
